In 2007, a small group of friends set out to redefine the world of herb grinders, giving birth to Santa Cruz Shredder. Inspired by the vibrant culture of Santa Cruz, California, we envisioned the ultimate grinding experience. With meticulous detail and the expertise of our NASA engineer, we crafted the first anodized aluminum grinder, pioneering a patented eight-surface tooth design that set us apart.

Infusing our love for Santa Cruz’s surf and skate culture, we created grinders that are more than just tools—they’re lifestyle pieces. Our reputation spread quickly, and soon, Santa Cruz Shredder became a cultural icon embraced by skaters, surfers, herbal enthusiasts, and trendsetters. Artist and rapper Berner joined our ranks, propelling us to new heights and cementing our status as a symbol of innovation and coolness.

Santa Cruz Shredders are popular with customers because they’ve established themselves as a quality grinder brand. Their new hemp grinders are a good way to give customers more sustainable, eco-friendly options. To use the 4-piece grinder, simply lift the lid to reveal the hemp teeth. Place a nug or two between the teeth and close the device back up. Use both hands to turn and grinder the contents until there is little resistance. Unscrew the bottom tooth layer to reveal the storage chamber that holds the ground bud. The bottom chamber is where the kief or pollen is separated and falls to save for later.

4 Piece Hemp Grinder

"The Santa Cruz Shredder Hemp Tray makes breaking down and rolling up flower a breeze. The smooth finish makes the perfect surface to dump ground bud out of a two-piece or four-piece grinder to put in a bowl, joint, blunt, or bong! Use the funnel spout to neatly pour flower, kief, or even ash right where you want it. This tray is made of hemp composite, which is very lightweight and sturdy. The rounded corners make it easy to slide in and out of a bag, making this small tray a great travel companion
